About The Designer
Deon Gervais has been involved in the fashion business her entire life. Her career started in Los Angeles as an actress, model and eventually a fashion designer/manufacturer. Her love of the Northwest, where she was born, brought her back to the beautiful vacation town of Redmond, Oregon, in 1996.
Deon's two areas of passion are animals and jewelry. In 2006 she decided to combine the two and see what would happen. Her jewelry designs represent her own animals: Persian cats, Arabian horses and numerous canines. Whenever possible, she actively participates in rescuing animals that are abused or abandoned. Recent efforts include a 2800-pound Clydesdale horse who had been abandoned in a pasture in Redmond, and two Thoroughbred horses.
